Caldera started with a simple frustration: too many speakers sound like equipment. Impressive for ten minutes, fatiguing by the second album.

Cabinets machined from Pacific Northwest hardwoods and finished in our Portland workshop. Braced, damped, and assembled by the people who designed them — not a container ship's third stop. Wood is sourced regionally; every enclosure is inspected, measured, and signed before it leaves.

How buying works
Direct means the money goes into the speaker
No distributor, no dealer margin, no demo-room markup. You buy from the workshop that built your pair — which is how a speaker at this level lands at $2,200–2,500 a pair instead of double that.

Your room is the only showroom that matters. Listen for 45 days. If they're not staying, send them back for a full refund. We cover return shipping in the continental US.
